Matrx Service/Repair Policy
Matrx offers evaluation & repair service on most makes and models of vacuum pumps and Matrx analgesia equipment at the following fixed rates. This includes analgesia equipment from Ohmeda, Fraser Harlake, Fraser Sweatman and MDS Matrx. All repairs are performed at the Matrx Orchard Park facility
Estimates are NOT provided on vacuum pumps or pneumatic mixers.
The following repair rates apply.
Description
Vacuum Pumps - without motor . . . . . . . . . . . . . $590.00
Complete disassembly and inspection of all components.
Replace motor bearings, water seal and all other seals.
Replace other components (except motor) as needed to bring unit to specification.
Reassemble and performance test unit.
6-month warranty.
Vacuum Pumps with motor . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Same as above including motor replacement instead of motor bearing and seal
replacement.
1-year warranty.
Pneumatic Mixer Repair . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
$680.00
Replace parts as necessary.
Calibrate to original specifications.
Clean entire unit.
Apply dated quality acceptance sticker.
6-month warranty.
Shipping Procedures
Products returned for repair will be accepted without a return authorization number. Specify that it is an item for repair and label it to the attention of the Repair Service Center. Product must be properly packaged to avoid damage.
Rental Returns and Analgesia Equipment
1 . Charges will accrue from the time the equipment was shipped to the customer through its receipt by Matrx. Rental charges will be invoiced when unit is returned. A minimum of one month charge/repair will be made. Partial months will be rounded up to the next month.
2. Loaners used during the repair of equipment that is under warranty will be at no charge. Loaner units must be returned to Matrx within 7 days after receipt of repaired unit or monthly charge will be initiated. Freight charges for loaner to be sent to customer will be paid by Matrx.
